Literature Text

In a land of woods lakes and rocks, they say
Down old Indian Trail
Two lovers met eyes, fell in love the same day.
They loved eachother, more than one way
Down old Indian Trail

He was a huntsman, preying fowl and flock
Down old Indian Trail
He kept her fed well, kept her in good stock
Asked in return nothing more than a sock
Down old Indian Trail

She was a dancer, she danced in the wood
Down old Indian Trail
She danced day and night, all she could
She sees every living creature in good
Down old Indian Trail

In the moon light, they dance
In the moon light, they kiss
Beneath the stars, above the ocean
Beneath their hopes, above their dreams
Below their feet, where they stand
Is old Indian Trail.

Day and night they wonder thar
Down old Indian Trail
They wonder near, they wonder far
Never at loss beneath the stars
Down old Indian Trail

Hundreds of years pass, yet only a few fly by
Down old Indian Trail
The two lovers, in eachother's arms, they die
They say you can see them still as you pass on by
Down old Indian Trail

The woods, the lakes and the rocks
Of old Indian trail
Have dedicated their beauty to their flocks
On this trail, a name was sought
For old Indian Trail

In dedication to their love
In dedication to their passion
The trail was named old Indian
In the name of wisdom and peace
In the name of love and sorrow

Beneath the ocean, above the stars
Beneath their dreams, above their hopes.
Yet another poem I wrote before Candle Love. This one is more lyrical than any poem I have written.

This one demonstrates the beauty and emotion of falling in love, and symbolizes the complexity of a primitive kind of love, how love shouldn't be taken for granted.

This poem is based on a once-true story...
